Simon Wilby Changes the Future of Charging Cellular Phones

We have all grown accustomed to charging our phones through conventional means, but one man is willing to change that for good.

Simon Wilby, an English-born Canadian inventor, has recently come up with a revolutionary device that can provide reliable and constant power to mobile phones – The Smart One. This is an aftermarket solar powered variation of the lithium battery, which charges either by natural or artificial light source.

The Smart One eliminates problems commonly associated with weak batteries. First, it picks up power from solar energy, which automatically gets rid of plugging cell phones to wall sockets. Second, it increases average talk time to as much as 300%, allowing anywhere from 12 to 14 hours of talk time as opposed to conventional battery units that can only go up to 5 hours. Third, it provides continuous battery life so long as parts of the solar cells are exposed to light sources. Lastly, it increases memory storage as well as battery stability, making the battery more reliable than those made using the lithium ion technology.

With the convenience and efficiency Simon Wilby’s invention offers, cell phone chargers will probably be phased out from the market soon, and replaced by phone batteries that run on energy drawn from the sun.
